Our Approach
Jubilant Money facilitates anonymous gift transfers to help close the Black-White racial wealth gap in the U.S.
Jubilant Money is inspired by the ancient Jewish practice of Jubilee. The year of Jubilee occurred every 50 years and it included the freeing of slaves, mass debt forgiveness, the return of land to original owners, and celebration. Jubilant Money seeks to embody the spirit of Jubilee as it works to close the Black-White wealth gap in the U.S., supporting Black households as they emerge from generations of wealth and labor extraction and move toward the financial freedom that can help their families and communities flourish.
